A United Church

I have not-so-recently beeen burdened to pray for Revival, for my church. But i know this has to be a prayer of faith, and so i pray also for the continual refreshing of the Spirit, and plead with my Lord for the granting of His Will even though not all the members of the church might be unified in this decision, whether by lack of faith or else.

I also committed my thoughts only to my Great Lord, pouring out this need for a revival to Him- not to anyone else, for i feel this is for the Lord to convict.

O, and what fruits have i begun to see!

Not an immediate, great revival of course- but i then began to realise during prayer (in prayer meetings) that other members of our church have also begun to have the need to pray for Revival: and My Heart is so blessed and i am assured that the Lord does want to grant us this revival.

And yet i cannot slacken from fervently beseeching the Lord regarding this issue, for i know that the devil is earnestly seeking for ways to thwart this revival- or to dampen its effects as much as he can.

Yea, i take comfort in knowing that the devil can not hear the utterances of our souls- Only our Creator God knows All! Amen to that.

Another thing i have truly learnt-

ALL THE MEMBERS OF A CHURCH ARE IMPORTANT, AS ALL THE PARTS OF A BODY ARE VITAL TO LIVE.

But that will have to be covered another day, hopefully some time soon.
